Among the unsung heroes behind the scenes are Foley artists who are truly the magicians of sound, skillfully using a variety of everyday objects to mimic variety of sounds to create the perfect acoustic illusion. 🥿🚪🔧

The term “Foley” is derived from the name of Jack Donovan Foley (1891-1967), a pioneer in the field of sound effects for film. 

Jack Foley developed techniques for recording these effects in sync with the on-screen action, a process that would later become known as “Foley.”
