Professional Advocacy & Governance
* National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA): President (1974–1978); Chairman of the 50th Anniversary Symposium (1999).
* Rhode Island Licensure Board: Chairman (1980–1992); led the effort for state licensure in 1980.
