Madison + Charlie’s outdoor reception was neutral perfection with the prettiest layers of texture. Flower baskets spilling over every corner, eyelet lacey linens, bistro lights overhead, and a simple palette of greens and whites.

Guests arrived to a mocktail moment with tray-passed favorites like blueberry mojitos, strawberry lemonade with lemon garnish, and Diet Coke with fresh lime and vanilla. During the gathering that followed, the Southern-inspired bites were such a standout: mozzarella, basil, and pickled peach skewers, fried chicken and waffles with real maple syrup and a rosemary sprig, pulled brisket sliders on brioche with house-made pickles and onions, and macaroni and cheese bites with BBQ sauce.

And then the surprises. Madison and her guests were treated to a flower bar (because giving flowers is one of her favorite things), and Charlie got his own cinnamon roll station served warm and from scratch. Flavors included strawberry shortcake, brown butter pecan, maple bacon, classic, and Nutella.

Already married a few weeks earlier in California, this night felt like the perfect encore—relaxed, thoughtful, and full of sweet nods to what they love.
