#AngelicaRoss is Roxie Hart in #Chicago on Broadway, and she opened up to ny1 about the iconic role, saying she feels she's "in good company" considering the iconic actresses who have assumed the role before her, including Great White Way legend #AnnReinking, who died in 2020. In the interview, Ross, who is the first openly transgender woman to take on Roxie, described how the baritone of Reinking's voice made her feel more comfortable in the show. "With [Ann Reinking] singing such a low key, I have actually slightly higher than she does, and it just makes me feel... just in good company that whether, as a trans woman, I have a low voice or a high voice, that I'm the type of woman that can also do this role," she said.
