## Caption

Last May during Commencement, Livingstone College President, Dr. Anthony J. Davis, revealed to the College family that he was battling stage 5 kidney failure, and was looking for a donor. Fast forward to November, Davis received word that someone named Heather Patrek, came into the hospital with a Black Enterprise article, stating that she wanted to donate her kidney to him.

After testing as a match, Davis underwent a successful kidney transplant surgery and spoke to us on #HBSinceNews to tell the story of how this all played out
