**UPDATE, August 18, 2026:

Girl Scouts San Diego has amended the lawsuit against our former cookie baker, Ferrero U.S.A. and subsidiary, Little Brownie Bakers. As previously announced in March of this year, we filed the lawsuit seeking to recover funds lost when Ferrero unilaterally terminated its contract in 2024, in violation of the stated terms and conditions.

The amended complaint adds a claim for fraudulent concealment, alleging that Ferrero deliberately withheld critical information before abruptly terminating its contract.

We have filed a lawsuit against our former cookie baker, Ferrero U.S.A., and its subsidiary, Little Brownie Bakers (LBB), seeking to recover funds lost when they abruptly terminated their contract with Girl Scouts San Diego in 2024. 
 
This lawsuit sends a message to both girls and our community about what it looks like to take action to promote and preserve the values and ideals of good, ethical business practices; one of the five skills that Girl Scouts learn through participating in the cookie program.
