lauriejstephens is carrying the U.S. flag as a Paralympic icon on snow. Here are five things to know before cheering her on 👇❄️

🏅 Laurie is one of the most decorated U.S. para alpine skiers with two gold, two silver and three bronze medals. 

⛷️ She has now represented teamusa at six Winter Games (2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022, 2026).

🔥 Laurie has competed in every para alpine skiing discipline but will focus on slalom and giant slalom at the 2026 Games.

🏊 Born with spina bifida, Laurie was setting U.S. para-swimming records before she began skiing at age 12.

👑 At just 22, after her 2006 Paralympic debut, she was honored as one of the top women athletes of the Paralympic Games.
