🇯🇵🎉 Japan has officially recognized March 7 as “TE37 Day,” celebrating one of the most legendary wheels ever created in car culture.

The date honors the RAYS VOLK Racing TE37, a forged aluminum wheel first released in 1996 that quickly became a staple in motorsport and the global JDM scene.

The day was formally registered by the Japan Anniversary Association as part of the wheel’s 30th anniversary celebration in 2026, highlighting its decades of influence on racing and tuning culture.

The name TE37 itself reflects the wheel’s concept: “Touring Evolution” and its incredibly light 3.7 kg weight in its original design, which made it revolutionary for performance cars at the time. 

Over the years, the simple six-spoke forged design became iconic on everything from JDM legends like the Nissan GT-R and Toyota Supra to modern track builds and professional race cars.

Its strength-to-weight ratio and durability helped it become one of the most trusted wheels in motorsports and street tuning worldwide.

To celebrate the anniversary and the new holiday, RAYS announced special edition wheels, commemorative items, and promotions throughout the year, recognizing the enthusiasts who have kept the TE37 relevant for three decades.
