As part of our ‘Inside the Vision’ series, we continue the conversation with Dean Meg Paul megpaul_dance as she shares how the Joffrey Midwest Summer Intensive curriculum is intentionally designed to maximize growth in a short period of time.

Part 2 -  The Curriculum. Every class is intentional.
Meg speaks about carefully developing a curriculum that brings together strong, experienced educators who are fully immersed with the dancers. Faculty are not simply teaching combinations. They are guiding process, fostering connection, and shaping artists from studio to stage.

In just a few weeks, dancers move from embodiment in the classroom to performance on stage. The structure is designed to be immersive, rigorous, and transformative, allowing students to experience what it means to train with purpose and perform with confidence.

At Joffrey Midwest, curriculum is not just about steps. It is about preparation, presence, and artistic development at every level.
