Hudson Darby opened the scoring for the Sharks in the first period, while Trae Wilke tied the game early in the third on a 5-on-3 power play. After Wheat City scored twice in quick succession to take control, Parker Rondeau pulled the Slough Sharks back within one midway through the period, but a late insurance goal sealed the win for the Walleye. Both teams finished with 30 shots, while Aiden Eskit made 25 saves in the loss.
