Getting ready for Easter with my grandkids and BirchLane 🪺
Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Each year I bring out my treasured pieces - festive, elegant, timeless and part of our family tradition you can find all of these pieces at birchlane.com. 
This year the grandkids made egg carton flowers to fill my favorite stoneware pitcher from Birch Lane. We dyed eggs using natural vegetable dyes (the kids are fascinated watching the colors appear!) and made beautiful botanical eggs with fresh herbs and… pantyhose! They look like little works of art displayed on my Cook & Host Egg Platter.
We also made no-bake bird nests cookies served on my Haruna Ceramic Cake Stand with my bunny bowls from Birch Lane holding all our supplies.
Simple moments, sweet traditions, and the little things that make Easter so special. 

No Bake Easter Nest Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups dried chow mein noodles
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips

INSTRUCTIONS: 
Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in the microwave
In a large bowl, combine the melted chocolate and butterscotch chips with the dried chow mein noodles.  Spray a silicone mini cupcake mold with cooking spray. Fill each cup with the “birds’ nest” mixture.  To each cup add two mini chocolate eggs or jelly beans. Allow to cool and harden
