Happy Founders’ Day! 📜

Today, we’re celebrating with our final Founders’ Day Tuesday spotlight: Sharon Dupont McCord, recipient of the 2026 Philanthropist of the Year Award! 🏆

A visionary supporter of business education, Sharon and her late husband launched the McCord Scholars initiative, the largest single-donor undergraduate scholarship gift in ASU history, and helped bring McCord Hall to life at the @wpcareyschool.

Through her decades of philanthropy and leadership — including service on the ASU President’s Club, Dean’s Council of 100, and ASU Women and Philanthropy — she continues to open doors for students and inspire bold initiatives across the university.
