For FW26, Alexander McQueen transported guests into a surreal dollhouse universe — a stage of exaggerated silhouettes, puffed volumes and unmistakable Victorian references. Satin and lace introduced a sense of childhood delicacy, while sharply sculpted tailoring brought dramatic contrast.

Masks heightened the atmosphere of mystery, lending the collection a theatrical tension that built towards a finale resembling the closing act of a play. With this season, creative director Seán McGirr reaffirmed the house’s appetite for spectacle, returning McQueen to a world of dark romance and bold drama.
