I recently had a man (on a date) tell me I was “not like other women.” He meant it as a kind of compliment but I stared at him puzzled, and responded that I honestly had no idea what kinds of women he was referring to because the women I know are smart & driven & creative & brave & adventurous & curious & kind. 

What a gift to be amongst those women. 🥰

Here’s to all the incredible women who’ve raised me, shaped me, inspired me, and paved the way before me.
