This video clip was taken from one of my Zoom training sessions with my wonderful students.
Unfortunately, Zoom recordings often make the image a little blurry, and I apologize for that. But this video is not about the picture it is about the message I want to share.

In this clip, I talk about the benefits of facials and facial massage, and why what we do as professionals can make such an important difference for the skin and overall well-being of our clients.

Benefits of Facial Treatments and Facial Massage

• Improves blood circulation, helping deliver oxygen and nutrients to the skin.

• Supports lymphatic drainage, which may help reduce puffiness and fluid stagnation.

• Relaxes facial muscles, releasing tension and softening facial expressions.

• Improves skin tone and radiance by stimulating the tissues.

• Supports skin renewal and metabolism.

• Enhances the effectiveness of skincare
products through proper application and massage.

• Cleanses and removes dead skin cells, helping keep the skin clear.

• Improves hydration and supports the skin barrier.

• Softens and mobilizes connective tissue, improving tissue flexibility.

• Promotes deep relaxation by calming the nervous system.

In addition, when we work on structures such as the epicranial aponeurosis, gentle mechanical stimulation can affect the cranial bones. Bone has a natural property called piezoelectricity, meaning that mechanical pressure can generate small electrical signals that are involved in maintaining bone health.

Facials are not just about skincare products they are about understanding the tissues, the circulation, the lymphatic system, the muscles, and even the structure of the face. When done with knowledge and intention, facial massage becomes a powerful tool to support the health, function, and natural beauty of the face.
