Universal Studios Hollywood has officially revealed the full lineup of ride vehicles for the upcoming Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster, scheduled to open in Summer 2026.

This video showcases the newly unveiled vehicles that will make up the trains for the attraction. Each vehicle is inspired by some of the most iconic cars from the Fast & Furious film franchise, bringing the films' street-racing world directly into the ride experience.

Guests will board one of four vehicles modeled after cars driven by beloved characters from the series:

• 1970 Dodge Charger inspired by Dominic Toretto’s legendary American muscle car. With its sleek black frame and massive horsepower, the Charger has become one of the most recognizable vehicles in the entire franchise.

• Mazda RX-7 is inspired by the car driven by Han Seoul-oh. Known for its distinctive design and racing modifications, the RX-7 quickly became one of the most iconic tuner cars featured in the films.

• Nissan Skyline GT-R inspired by Brian O’Conner’s famous blue performance machine. This vehicle became one of the most recognizable imports in the Fast & Furious series thanks to its aggressive styling and extensive performance upgrades.

• Toyota Supra inspired by Brian O’Conner’s bright orange street racing car. Powered by the legendary 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo inline six engine, the Supra became one of the most memorable vehicles in the original film.

Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will be Universal Studios Hollywood’s first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster, representing a major addition to the park’s Upper Lot. The attraction will feature groundbreaking 360-degree rotating ride vehicles designed to simulate the sensation of drifting cars as the coaster races through the track.

The coaster will reach speeds of up to 72 miles per hour while traveling along 4,100 feet of track, the equivalent of nearly twelve football fields. The track will soar above sections of the theme park and even pass over the Starway escalators, which connect the Upper Lot and Lower Lot at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Inside the load platform, guests will also see a large-scale mural created by internationally recognized artist Tristan Eaton. The artwork depicts a dramatic street racing scene inspired by the original Fast & Furious film and includes a tribute to Dominic Toretto.

Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift continues Universal’s long tradition of pushing the boundaries of roller coaster technology across its global theme parks.
