Comedian and entrepreneur Katt Williams is expanding his impact beyond entertainment — and into education. Williams has partnered with Miles College, to create a scholarship fund focused on artificial intelligence and augmented reality in filmmaking.

📍The initiative connects directly to Williams’ larger redevelopment project at Fort McClellan in Alabama under his company Kemet Movie Works. The site already includes advanced sound stages built for virtual production — allowing filmmakers to create digital environments without leaving the state.

Miles College President Bobbie Knight says the agreement gives students direct access to training in AI and AR, preparing them for the rapidly evolving entertainment industry. Williams emphasized keeping production — and the money tied to it — closer to home, creating opportunities for qualified people of color in emerging tech-driven film spaces.
