These 2026 Kenworth L770 Low Cab Forward refuse trucks (VIN 3BK6X20X1TF805919–22) are purpose-built commercial front loaders designed for tight urban routes, heavy containers, and nonstop daily cycles. Built on a compact 195” wheelbase with zinc-coated 10-3/4” x 3/8” steel frame rails, this chassis delivers the strength and maneuverability required for demanding waste collection routes. Rated at 62,000-lb GVWR with a 20K front axle, 40K tandem drives, and a self-steering lift axle, it’s engineered to maximize payload while staying nimble in alleys and commercial loading areas.

Power comes from the Cummins L9N natural gas engine producing 320 horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque, fueled by an Agility compressed natural gas (CNG) system for cleaner operation and reduced emissions. It’s paired with the proven Allison 3000 RDS-P Gen 6 automatic transmission with PTO provision and push-button controls, delivering smooth power for constant stop-and-go refuse routes.

Up front is a Meritor MFS20 wide-track 20K steer axle with taperleaf suspension and shocks. Out back, Meritor MT40-14X 40K tandems ride on Hendrickson HMX EX 400 Haulmaax suspension with driver-controlled locking differentials and lube pump for durability under heavy loading. A Hendrickson EXS13 self-steering lift axle increases payload capability while improving maneuverability.

Mounted on the chassis is an Amrep HX450FL commercial front loader body, designed for heavy commercial waste routes with strong lifting capability, fast packing cycles, and long-term durability. Combined with the L770’s low cab forward design, it delivers excellent visibility and tight turning radius for crowded commercial pickup locations.

Rolling on Bridgestone tires with high-polish Alcoa aluminum wheels, these trucks are built for durability and uptime. Inside the insulated LCF cab, drivers get a 7” digital display with virtual gauges, Kenworth ConcertClass audio with Bluetooth and USB, SmartLINQ telematics, and LED lighting for improved visibility and safety.
