#TakeActionTuesday: March 7 marked the first National Women Coaches Day (#NWCD)! 

Founded by wecoachsports, this day honors the powerful influence of women coaches who inspire and shape the next generation of athletes. WSF remains committed to expanding opportunities for women coaches and providing the resources they need to be successful. We do this through: 

🏀The Tara VanDerveer Fund for the Advancement of Women in Coaching which seeks to address the lack of women coaches at the college level through investment and mentorship. 

🏈 The Scott Pioli & Family Fund for Women Football Coaches and Scouts which supports the development and training of women who are pursuing careers in collegiate or professional football. 

🏐We Play Interactive®, which is a free easy-to-access digital platform created to help coaches and program leaders create an environment where all girls can thrive. 

WSF’s grants and resources have had a direct impact on the lives of women coaches across the country. We know that women have the talent and skills to coach at every level. What’s needed is continued investment and support to make these dreams a reality. #TheEquityProject
