Today I celebrate 19 years of a beautiful, unadulterated, pure lifelong love and bond between these unmatched souls I call my parents. Anyone who knows me, knows that they have heavily influenced my views of what #BlackLove should exude, encapsulate, and be at it's best. They have not just set the bar, they are the bar.⠀

I have been extremely blessed to witness them love each other, through their flaws and faults, constantly motivating one another to soar to greater heights, never neglecting to educate and expose the other to new knowledge, always sharing laughter, smiles, and sweet nothings, all while navigating this biased society that plots on the destruction of the very thing they embody - a beautiful, unified Black love.⠀

They have beat the odds. They have overcome the stigmas. They have hurdled barriers. They unconditionally have loved each other for 19 years; so on this day I celebrate, admire, and go googly eyed for their love as I wish them a happy anniversary and many more years of a very beautiful love 🖤🥂
