I came, I saw, I conquered. ✊🏾
Today I donated 70 composition notebooks to the Marietta RYDC. That’s 70 more kids who’ve been given a platform to document the stories that have fallen unheard. A community of 70 more kids who will go on to be the next Zora Neale Hurston, Dead Prez, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Lauryn Hill, Ryan Coogler, etc. I intend on giving these kids the gift I too once received, the power of words and what can happen when you put pen to paper. “The Youth Will Be All Write” and I will forever stand by my aspirations to make sure that holds true. .
