I have been charged with the responsibility to make my ancestors proud. The way that they paved the way for me, for us, with their blood, sweat, souls and tears makes it a little easier for me to keep pushing. Even when things get a little challenging, I have to move forward.

I owe that to them and the generations to come. I will continue to press forward and raise my voice, express myself and connect with like-minded individuals along the way.

In this week alone, (and the week isn’t even over 😩), I have connected with individuals that I probably would have never come in contact with, if I hadn’t positioned myself to be where I am today. I am beyond grateful. 🖤
