kerbito is every individual who finds themselves in an occupation scarce of color. A mood, but not an anomaly. Discrimination and skewed intentions around diversity and inclusion occur way too frequently in the fashion industry and Kerby had something to say about it.

Addressing the tokenism of Black culture implemented at BOF, Kerby released a message that would be read by the masses as he let the fashion industry know that a dollar wouldn’t diminish his voice and that a check will never halt him from checking those who find themselves swerving uncontrollably out of their lane. (hence the quote). Kerby, I appreciate you speaking out amidst the silence and without regard to the consequences.
