This is what happened after we attended the latest @thevillagemarketatl event. This is very rare, not usually something that my Mom does, (recording herself), but this happened and I felt compelled to share.
•
She is so confident in who she is and what she offers that she doesn’t have to be seen, she doesn’t need accolades, she doesn’t need a fancy title, she’s just HER, but I’m always attempting to push her to the forefront so that everyone gets to witness all of the greatness that she offers. When events like these cross my mind, she’s the first one I ask to be my +1 because everything is truly more enjoyable alongside her.

She unexpectedly sent this to me and it caught me off guard, but also warmed my heart. I’ve gotten to witness my mother’s aura and magic on a firsthand account because I was raised by this powerhouse of a woman. When we’re in public, people gravitate to her. They see her light shining a mile away. There’s something very special about the energy that she exudes. The common sentiment that people share with me a lot is that “I should be grateful that I have her.” I wholeheartedly agree. She has a light that I’ve always believed should be shared with the world.
