START A REVOLUTION 💓

From a very young age, I was amazed by how the prominent revolutionaries and activists within our community were able to utilize their platforms to evoke emotion within our people and lead them to action. They witnessed the injustices and wrongdoing and became proactive, while others chose to sit back and stay silent. I was always inspired by their courageous acts and pursuit of justice, and vowed to carry a similar devotion to my people. Which is why I WILL bear the baton across the finish line and do the work my ancestors so devoutly fought for.

This is a new era. The revolution will not just be fought in the streets, but on our social platforms, in the room where policies are being dismantled, televised and not. The revolution will evolve and only the real will survive. This revolution will not consist of the ones who are not undoubtedly willing to work for their people until they’re in the ground. This work is not for the faint at heart, but instead the ones who intend to make the ancestors proud. ✊🏾
