Captivating 🖤
tadeyemibooks crafted a masterpiece in which I saw myself represented in. She transcended the literary boundaries of stereotypical Black supporting characters, and reeled me into a world of multidimensional, magical African characters in which I related to, became attached to, and rooted for. Not only did I find myself on the cover, I found myself in the pages. In the midst of a busy world and daily duties, Tomi brought back the little girl who held a flashlight under her cover and stayed up at the height of the night, quietly telling herself, “just one more chapter”, as she continued on to read into 5. To say this book is a “must read” would be quite fitting because it’s true. It’s a MUST READ! You, yes you, must read it.
