Swayman’s numbers, as depicted by the Athletic’s Jesse Granger may not POP out on the stat sheet however the Bruins defensive numbers according to Natural Stat Trick are among the worst in the NHL (as of March 7th):

— 32nd in expected goals allowed (3.62)
— 30th in HD chances allowed (13.77)
— 27th in scoring chances allowed (30.15)

Despite those defensive setbacks, the Bruins remain in the playoff race. They have Swayman to thank for a lot of that ➡️
