✊ Indigenous mobilisation STOPPED Amazon rivers from being turned into industrial highways for agribusiness. ⁣
A Brazilian decree that would have opened the door to dredging on the Madeira, Tapajós and Tocantins rivers has just been revoked 🚫⁣

⁣
No river engineering. No export super-corridors. No sacrifice zones for corporate profit ‼️ This victory was marked by an Indigenous encampment at a port terminal operated by Cargill on the Tapajós River. Communities stood their ground. And it worked ✊⁣
