🏆 SHP makes history at Berkeley Model UN! 🏆 Against over 2,000 competitors from across the globe, SHP's Model UN team took home the highly coveted “Best Club” Delegation award—the highest honor recognizing the collective excellence, preparation, and diplomacy of an entire team. Winning this at BMUN, one of the nation's most prestigious conferences, is truly like winning a season championship. Our students showed incredible grit and teamwork, walking away with four Commendation awards, one Research award, and two Outstanding awards. A huge shoutout to our first-year delegates who were a big part of this success, exemplifying mastery of public speaking, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.

This historic, first-ever "Best Club" win for SHP is a testament to the dedication of faculty advisor Dan Allari, who rebuilt the team from fewer than 20 students post-COVID to a thriving roster of over 50 today. We also want to send a huge thank you to our seniors and MUN leadership—Brooke Soderberry, Duke Tom, Eduardo Tapper, Abby Gruber, as well as two juniors on the leadership team, Saara Wallace and Graham Keller—for mentoring the team and leading by example.
