Never let bullies win. If someone is coming after you, it’s often because they know you have something good.

When Kent and Ryan were facing a trademark lawsuit, I knew they had merit and felt compelled to stand up for them. Early on with KIND, people tried to bully me out of the market too, and I had to grow my business backbone. I learned it’s important not to bully others, but it’s just as important not to let yourself get bullied.

What started as a Hail Mary DM from Ryan turned into working together six years later and becoming the first company to not receive a deal in the Tank and return with an update.
