Apple is set to roll out eight brand-new emojis this spring, including a new dancer, a “killer” sea creature and even a fan-favourite cryptid. 👀⁣

The emojis were approved by the Unicode Consortium as part of Unicode 17.0, which launched in September 2025. While Apple users can already make custom emojis with Genmoji, these official additions will work across all devices and platforms.⁣
