MILITARY MOMS: The New York Islanders are helping make life a little easier for military moms-to-be by hosting a baby shower at UBS Arena. 

The hockey-themed event celebrated 25 new and expecting mothers whose spouses or partners are currently deployed. In partnership with Operation Shower, the Islanders Children’s Foundation provided a catered lunch, raffle prizes and gifts for the women and their babies.
