“Tiznow wins it for America!” That unforgettable call remains etched in racing history. Tiznow became the only horse to win back-to-back Breeders’ Cup Classic, capturing the race in 2000 and 2001. The 2001 Breeders’ Cup at Belmont Park also marked the first major sporting event held just six weeks after September 11 attacks.
