The 5️⃣th southasiansattheoscars ‘Pre-Oscar’ party returned to Los Angeles on Tuesday night — bringing together the artists, storytellers, and industry leaders redefining what Hollywood looks like, and we had an opportunity to capture the room in all its glory.✨🎬

What began as a gathering has grown into a defining Oscars-week tradition, celebrating the cultural power and global impact of South Asian creatives on the industry’s biggest stage.🙌🏾

Hosted by anjula_acharia, #utktheinc, azizansari, belabajaria, anitachatterbox, priyankachopra, shrutirya, zakirkhan_208, smritimundhra, surajsharmagram, shamsoutandabout, and yoyogeraldine, the evening honored this year’s Academy Award nominees including geetagandbhir with two nominations for theperfectneighborfilm and thedevilisbusyfilm, as well as #alexandresingh for two_people_exchanging_saliva, co-directed and co-written by nmusteata.✨🎥

The room was filled with some of Hollywood’s most exciting South Asian talent — including alicomedy, anjalibhimani, manishdayal, nishaganatra, poornajagannathan, lizakoshy, sevohanian, anirudhpisharody, dannypudi, lararajagopal, rhearaj, sonalshahofficial, saagarshaikh, lilly, avantika, and more — all showing up to celebrate a powerful year for South Asian storytelling.🫰🏾🫰🏾
