The seniors of the Carlisle girls basketball program got to finish their careers on top – for the first time in school history.  Led by that senior core – which included three starters and the Wildcat’s sixth player – Carlisle held off Dallas Center-Grimes, 38-36, in the Class 4A state championship game at the Iowa high school girls state basketball tournament on Saturday, March 7.  It marked the first girls basketball title for the Wildcats, who returned to the tournament this season after an 11-year drought.  #iowa #ighsau #DesMoines #StateChampion #HighSchool
