​I would honestly rather get pulled over by the Mexican police with zero paperwork than deal with a cop back in the States. 🚓🇺🇸

​People back home assume you are instantly going to be extorted or thrown into a Mexican prison. ⛓️💸

​Instead, we just ended up having a casual chat about American politics and the Holy Bible. 📖🗣️

​I am sitting on the side of the highway in Chiapas with absolutely no identification. 🏍️🤷‍♂️

​Just sweating in my motorcycle gear and hoping for the best. 🥵

​And the officer is just casually breaking down theology with me. ⛪👮‍♂️

​It turns out that treating people like actual human beings goes a long way. 🤝

​A decent attitude and some respect will get you a lot further down the road than a laminated piece of plastic. 🪪❌

​Or maybe they just thought the foreigner on the bike was way too weird to arrest. 🤪

​Either way, I rode off without a ticket and with a very unexpected Sunday school lesson. 🛣️🙏
