reelancing sounds amazing.

No boss.
No schedule.
Work whenever you want.

But that freedom can turn into chaos real fast.

Early in my career I was working all the time.

Random hours.
Late night edits.
Weekend emails.

It wasn’t sustainable.

So I made a few rules for myself.

• I work 9–6, Monday through Friday
• Weekends are off unless it’s a scheduled shoot
• I pay myself a salary
• I take at least one real vacation every year
• I have health insurance

Freelancing works a lot better when you treat it like a real business.

Structure is what makes the freedom possible.
