I’m one of those moms who always feels like we should be on a trip anytime there’s a school break longer than a few days, so I’ll be honest, I had a little mom guilt about not planning a vacation for my 6 year old’s spring break this year. Instead, we filled the week with little activities around Atlanta… and it reminded me of something important: 

To Harper, it wasn’t about where we went.
It was about getting one-on-one time together.

Since her spring break is so early in March, it was still chilly outside, so we did a day with @resortpass at the Sonesta and spent the afternoon swimming in the indoor pool, doing face masks, eating snacks, and just hanging out together. Honestly, it ended up being the perfect little mother-daughter day. Sometimes the simple plans end up being the ones they remember the most 🥰
