At age 15, Danielle Hendrix was treated for cancer at the @uk_danceblue @kentuckychildrenshospital Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic.

Now a @ukfinearts freshman, Danielle plans to combine her passions for music and helping others to become a music therapist.

“[The DanceBlue marathon] makes me feel like we’re making a lot of progress towards awareness, not just just funding, but just knowledge of what kids are facing when they go through a cancer diagnosis.”
