Swipe ⬅️ Desmond Doss refused to carry a gun in WWII. His own unit threw shoes at him, threatened to shoot him, and tried to have him kicked out. Then at Hacksaw Ridge on Okinawa, he single handedly saved 75 wounded men from a 400 foot cliff under enemy fire without ever picking up a weapon. The President told him it was a greater honour than being president. This is his story.
