2025 was a banner year for Oakland films & filmmakers 🎬✨

And, we made sure to celebrate these award-winning stories right here in The Town! 📍

Throwing it back to our SOLD-OUT Movie Night for SINNERS with makeitbay at the historic Grand Lake Theatre—the same stage where Oakland’s biggest premieres are honored.

Shout out to #OaklandsVeryOwn Ryan Coogler and the entire squad on their Golden Globe win + the plethora of awards they’re stacking for Sinners 🏆🔥

Looks like ANOTHER MAJOR OAKLAND MOVIE NIGHT is loading for December 👀

Should we do another takeover at grandlaketheater ??? 👉 Swipe to the end for the preview

Oakland on screen. Oakland in the seats. Always better in person! 💯 🎬
