Olivia Listro ‘26 is a freshman business major, leaning towards a marketing or a finance path here at Marist.

Enjoying a warm day, Listro talked about how much she loves the scenery here on campus; “I love being outside, and I love the area here. I love being by the water and watching the sunsets, it’s so nice.”

The freshman is involved in a few extracurriculars, one of them being the Best Buddies club. She said, “I’m in the Best Buddies club; it’s for special needs students, we have events with them and hang out with them, things like that. I’ve felt a connection with them, they’re all so loving and expressive.” Another extracurricular she is involved in is the Women in Business club, which she enjoys being a part of. “It’s very empowering being around other women. At home I work for two women owned and operated companies, so it’s something I’m familiar with.”

When asked where her favorite place to eat on campus is, as a freshman, she said, “I actually don’t mind the dining hall! I like it! I like the omelets and sandwiches a lot.”
