Six years after first sharing his story with The Hidden Opponent, Jack Wallace is back on the Paralympic stage—this time as a two-time Paralympic gold medalist. 🥇🥇

Since 2020, Jack helped lead Team USA to gold at the 2022 Beijing Paralympic Games and was named Defenseman of the Games. Now in Milano Cortina 2026, he’s bringing a new perspective—less pressure, more confidence in the team and the work it takes to get there.

But Jack’s ambitions don’t stop on the ice. While competing with the dominant U.S. Sled Hockey team, he’s also been chasing another dream: becoming a dual-sport Paralympian in paracanoe. After years of training through freezing winters and blazing summers, he came just .008 seconds shy of qualifying for the Paris Games.

Still, the mission hasn’t changed.

“Just because you’re a para-athlete doesn’t mean you can’t push boundaries.”

We’re cheering Jack on as he pursues gold in Milano Cortina and continues his journey toward LA 2028. 💚 Tune in to the Sled Hockey gold medal match tomorrow at 11 am EST as team USA takes on Canada.
