Tesla’s upcoming Cybercab robotaxi may look small on the outside.

But the interior design is revealing some surprising details.

The two-seat vehicle is designed without a steering wheel or pedals, allowing Tesla to dedicate almost the entire cabin to passengers.

Early footage from a display unit in Washington, D.C. suggests the Cybercab may actually offer more legroom than larger Tesla vehicles like the Model Y, Model X and even the Cybertruck.

The interior also features a large center screen designed for entertainment and ride information while the vehicle drives itself.

Images show an extra camera integrated into the C-pillar, which could expand the vehicle’s field of view as Tesla pushes toward fully autonomous driving.

Tesla engineers have also said the Cybercab could be built with roughly half the parts of a Model 3, potentially making it cheaper to manufacture at scale.
In other words, Tesla isn’t just building a smaller car.
It may be redesigning how cars are built.
