Adobe just beat earnings.
But the stock is dropping.

The company reported $6.40 billion in revenue and $6.06 in adjusted earnings per share, both above Wall Street estimates.
So what’s driving the selloff?

Adobe also announced that longtime CEO Shantanu Narayen will step down after a successor is named.
Narayen has led Adobe for 18 years, overseeing the company’s shift to the subscription software model that powers Creative Cloud.

Despite the leadership change, Adobe reaffirmed full-year revenue guidance and now has more than 850 million monthly active users across its ecosystem.
Still, investors appear focused on the uncertainty around who will lead Adobe next.

At the time of recording, Adobe shares were trading around $248 in premarket trading, near the company’s 52-week low.
