Definitely listen all the way through.

In this I elaborate on the subject of the higher and lower self. This is what the lyrical content is about in “The Wolf”. When I say “lower self” I’m not talking about the animal part of us humans. By all means satisfy your animal self with some occasional indulgence or sleeping in. Carnality is okay within reason. Sloth and gluttony aren’t sins…they are things that should be moderated. Excess sloth and gluttony can lead to depression. To me the lower self is the opposite of the glorious and powerful higher self and the lower self can make someone make permanent decisions based on temporary emotions. Suicide is something that this lower self can trick one to believe necessary. The higher self can be accessed through meditation. Try not to meditate under a 26 minute time period. Imagine that you are inside of a colossal hand holding you. Then see that this giant is you. Become this force.

You are not your thoughts but your thoughts are yours

You are not your body but your body is yours

You are not your inner negative critic and naysayer but this critic is yours and possibly the conditioning and bullying of others.

If you run on body energy you’ll burn out
If you run on mind energy the mind will give out
If you run on soul you become unstoppable.

If the higher self meditation I suggested doesn’t work for you. Try staring at a flame of a candle or bonfire and say “va va va va yen guru natha” over and over until you feel a shift. #blessedbe
