Yesterday, I had the privilege of being the Chief Guest at Scottish Church College, Kolkata....... a name etched in heritage, intellect, and purpose. The event, "Echoes from the Forests", in association with Nikon India, was more than just a seminar. It felt like a soulful exchange between nature’s silent calls and the hearts willing to listen.
From the Principal Madam to the Vice Principal Sir, and every faculty member, the warmth of their welcome matched the depth of their commitment. I was especially moved by the energy and curiosity of the students. Their humble yet heartfelt photography exhibition revealed how the forest speaks to each of us differently—sometimes through the rustle of leaves, sometimes through the stillness of an image.
To witness these young minds engage with the idea of biodiversity not just as a subject but as a responsibility, gave me hope. Hope that the next generation will not only admire the wild but also stand for it.
Nature doesn’t just exist around us—it echoes within. Let us learn to listen. Let us learn to protect.... 🥰🥰
