The beginning of the year talking to theejennyvaldes about depression.  It was my first time talking publicly about my recent experience with it.  I don't talk about it enough.  This month marks suicide awareness and its important that we start talking. 
⚫️ Its easy to talk when you're on the other side of it.  For those of you going through it right now, I know how lonely it feels. Some people will never understand the kind of superpower it takes for some people to get out of bed sometimes. That's because the pain of severe depression is unimaginable to those who haven’t experienced it. I also know that sometimes the days pass by, and the light everyone talks about doesn't arrive fast enough. I promise, see my story as a testimony, it does. 🙏🏽💙
