I recently had the honor of speaking on the Black Women in STEM – Film Talk panel after a screening of Hidden Figures at Tampa Theatre for the Black Love Classics Series.

A young student from the audience asked me, “Are there times when you feel like giving up?”

My honest answer: All the time!

We all laughed, but I emphasized how resilience is everything. Startup life can feel like a beautiful roller coaster—one day, you’re soaring; the next, you’re questioning everything. It’s those challenging moments that make success even sweeter in the end.
