On Last night stream we gave flowers 💐 and paid tribute to the late Dot Rotten aka Zeph Ellis. josephellis.wav We shared tributes from across social media, we watched interviews and were joined by some of his family, fans, friends and producers that have worked with Dot. 

They shared stories of his creative process and gave testimony of his brilliance. I’m talking from On Top FM days, MySpace Young Dotz the Comparisons to Kanye West are not an exaggeration to those that saw his creative process. He just didn’t get his flowers 💐 

We played Dot Rottens latest release under his alter ego Who’s British Feat Dot Rotten “Pslams for Praize” (His daughter is Princess Praise) it’s definitely a pivot and shift in what mqny including me expected. His latest release feels more like spoken word, scriptures and psalms he embodies the essence of a Preacher rather than an MC. It’s a message for his daughter but packaged for the masses I’m not sure if he delivered the final finished album but just looking through his Instagram it’s clear he is was not just on a musical but also a spiritual journey.
